Animation set 2009

Stop motion Animation set, scale 1:12.

This model was created for a private client who required an animation set to be created. We were given the script for the animation which outlined the basic appearance of the model, it had to look like a Victorian factory, untidy and well used.

A large part of the story was based around the machine in the centre, it had to be bulky and generic, so that the character could use it to create a number of different objects. The machine was clad in copper, with some parts that moved, these parts could then be animated as part of the story.

The client also requested that one side of the set could be removed so that the objects could be filmed from more than one angle. Lights were also placed throughout the model, in the forge, lamp and machine.
