Building fronts 2008

Created as part of our continual research into how to re-create various materials found in buildings and the environment, but at much smaller scales.

These two window fronts were created as part of a 10 day project. Constructed using various materials, including polyurethane foam, kappa-line foam and fast cast, to name a few. The window fronts and surrounds were created using real buildings as inspiration but changing the elements of the design to match descriptions found in literature. Such as Lord Of The Rings and Charles Dickens novels.
